All bones are sourced ethically! None of these animals were killed solely for their bones. I have bones from hunters, roadkill, antique stores, random outdoor finds, etc.

First I sit with the skull and ensure the spirit of the animal is at peace and wanting to become a spirit to be worked with. I will then work directly with the spirit of the animal to see/feel how their gifts and magic would like to be represented in color and form. Symbols and designs develop organically while painting and communing with their spirits.

All paints used are acrylic - usually many layers. I use a lot of color shifting metallic paints as well as acrylic markers to add a magical glow.

I am open to doing custom orders! Prices will vary upon size and scope of project. In cases where an actual bone of an animal may not be an option (such as a bear, big cat or many sea animals) there are typically 3D printed options available which I would still be able to paint upon.
