Mending The Etheric Body
The Etheric Body is our subtle energy body which runs through our entire system and a few feet around us. It is where the physical and metaphysical meet, holding the imprints of our emotions, thoughtforms and beliefs as well as the blueprint for our ideal energy flow. The flow of energy that runs through us can be disrupted by traumatic events, stuck emotions or stories we tell ourselves that are not true. It is easy throughout life to adopt stories from our family system, school, religion and societal structures which are not actually true to our own soul’s expression.
In this guided process, we will explore the etheric body with an open mind and the aim of easing the flow of restricted energy where necessary. This involves interacting with our system through the metaphors that arise organically from the felt sense, tracking with the curious mind and embracing with the loving heart in order to encourage a meaningful dialogue between the conscious self and the components of our energetic makeup we are less cognizant of. Sometimes we meet a younger self during this inquiry, who requires a particular kind of care, and for us to show up for them in a specific way. Sometimes we will come across objects that hold some resonance or significance to our own personal symbology. Whatever reveals itself, it is acknowledged with respect, engaged with so as to understand its function, and worked with to achieve a resolution.
This is a somatic practice which relies upon feeling into whatever comes up and engaging with it through questions and really understanding what the body is holding onto so it can be released in a healthy way and new energy flow can be invited in. Sometimes there will be a certain movement or sound that is needed to release whatever is stuck, other times it can be moved through with just a gentle awareness and naming of what is there. Each session is completely different and works with whatever arises in the moment. This is a powerful tool to look at emotional triggers so they can be resolved and we are able to respond rather than react to similar situations in the future.
There are often immediate changes in the way you feel - such as feeling lighter, or less constricted in your body, or more grounded and together. However, there can be follow-up actions that are needed in order to ground everything in the physical such as having a difficult conversation with someone that you have been avoiding, or completing a task that has been hard to do but should hopefully now be easier to accomplish.
This is not a replacement for therapy, but a supplemental practice to know yourself on a deeper level and how you’re aligned with the earth, sky and elements.
Sessions are done over Zoom and scheduled for an hour of time. Sliding scale $50-80.

Who is this for?
This work is for those folks who are ready to dive into a process of mindful self reflection and learn how to hold themselves in new ways - allowing old emotions, stories and beliefs to be witnessed and released. It is not for people in a state of mental health crisis or heightened emotional dysregulation. I’m just a person who has found this practice extremely helpful in resolving some of my emotional pain and buried wounds and I would like to share the practice with others so that they may come to greater inner balance and peace.
